# How to record Affiliate Order When a customer places and pays an order via an affiliate link or affiliate's discount code, RecomSale will record a affiliate order and commission. Please note that affiliate orders will be recorded only if it has been paid. If the order is pending (such as COD order), it will not be recorded until you mark the order as paid in the Shopify admin.
